Extreme Situation

Snake Some years ago, I saw a snake for my first time, It was the most traumatic situation I remember of my childhood. That was a day when my mom asked me a favor that was go to the food storage for several bananas. There my parents kept a lot of tubers and it was a room a little dark, and stacked. So I caught 1 banana and I didnt see anything, but when I caught the second one, I touched  with my hand something. Inmediately I scanned the tubers andnthere was a snake. The animal I afraid the most in my life and I was seeing one in that moment, Ok I not even thought, I just left the food storage and I ran like a lunatic. When my dad saw me run next him, he started yelling me. I told him what I had seen, then he went and he killed that snake.  It was a Talla X snake as is called in Choco or Bothrops atrox according to Google. Right now I recall that scene and I cant avoid laughing but I also feel panic because that is one of the most dangerous snake I have listene...

Are you a giver or a taker? In every workplace, there are three basic kinds of people: givers, takers and matchers, that is the introduction Adam Grant make in this TED TALK. We find Paranoia everywhere; paranoia is caused by people Adam called “Takers”. Takers are self-serving  in their interactions, you know, people just worried with one's own interests. It’s all about what can you do for me? The opposite its a giver, somebody who approaches interactions by asking what can I do for you? He says we all have moment of giving and taking but your style is how you treat most of the people most of the time. Take a moment to think about yourself, is the best way to know. Is curious how common these extremes are, Adam found that most people are right in the middle between giving and taking. They choose this third style called "matching."
